The Azerbaijan Tourism Summit 2019 is a cooperative platform established by the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board for stakeholders in the tourism industry to discuss the development, marketing and promotion of travel to and within Azerbaijan.

Panel discussion: Travel tech and innovation as an opportunity for local tourism development For the first time, internationally successful Azerbaijani entrepreneurs in the digital tourism sector will come together at the Azerbaijan Tourism Summit 2019 in a high-level panel session. The discussion will give food for thought about how new technologies and innovation can have a positive impact on tourism development in Azerbaijan. Room: B3+B4 Session brief: Following a presentation on the topic of Creating Experiences and Overview of Products created by ATB, participants will be split into groups and offered to Create an Experience using the cluster _ theme _ country of arrival. The workshop will have an interactive atmosphere as each group of participants will receive a chest box filled with items that might represent Azerbaijan. In addition, everyone will get a leaflet with practical information on how to create, promote and deliver the experience.
